Following the Food

Last Wednesday, Kansas City foodies Todd, Mel, Scott and Trever came in again to relax and enjoy a comfortable dinner out. They were regulars at Agave and like many of our customers, tracked us down to our new restaurant Luna Azteca. They each have their favorites. Todd likes to snarf down the Pollo Adovado and Scott toggles between the Tamales or Carnitas. Yeah, that’s a tough call.

Mel prefers the Chicken Tostada but with a special request which we’ve lovingly dubbed “habanero pudding”. Mhmm. It’s our hottest combination of chilies guaranteed to bring the toughest heavyweight to a weepy surrender. But sweet Mel wolfs it up like it’s the whip cream on a sundae.

Trever’s discerning palate has narrowed his favorite menu item to, uh, the whole menu. Can’t say that I blame him.

When I asked why they started coming to Luna Azteca, the answer was simple. “I followed the food!” Mel said to which the guys nodded a hearty agreement.

“We followed the food but stayed for the service and friendliness, ” she continued.

As professional foodies (I’m sure it’s a career path, right?), they choose Luna Azteca as “Best in the Northland!” and remain committed to supporting non-chain, local business.

Patio Seating

With the incredible weather we’ve been having, more guests are choosing to eat out on our patio. We are quickly finding many perks from our new location, like being right off I-29 at the Tiffany Springs exit and that great patio space!

The patio area has been a great place for celebrations and special events, but is now lovelier than ever thanks to Robin’s tender care. We’re very blessed to have devoted staff that cares about our restaurant and guests.

Great food is just one critical feature of a successful restaurant. Equally as important is the way you’re treated when you come. We put thoughtfulness in every part of your experience here. So come enjoy the weather, food and small, thoughtful details at Luna Azteca.

Thanks, Robin!
